Malcolm Smith.

Our Special thanks to Red Cloud and the Spirit team for this very special evening. The energies were phenomenal, but at the same time so calm as much of the evening was given to healing of various sitters.

There was some wonderful direct voice phenomena this evening from Kath’s mum in Spirit (Mary) - all other communication was via the table (apart from the odd nod of the trumpet).

The circle was opened this evening with a Prayer by me (Terry), once again the table came to life well before the Prayer was ended; rocking in the centre as we put our fingers on its edge. “Good evening, welcome.” say sitters as Red Cloud comes to the table - with this the table rises up in the air by about four feet, and then slowly back down again.

“Welcome back Doris, you have been missed, but we were there. Sorry you were so sick.” says Red Cloud. “Thank you.” says Doris. “You mean ‘sick’ as in ‘upchucking’?” asks Kath. “Yes.” says Red Cloud. “Something upset my stomach.” says Doris. Red Cloud then says “Malcolm, after drum, you and Doris are going in the hoops (hoola hoops Spirit use for healing).” Red Cloud then says “Anne, you are lucky Luke doesn’t like the feel of hair dye.” “I’m sorry Luke.” says Anne [laughter].

“Have you had your hair dyed?” asks Kath. “Yes, last week.” says Anne [laughter]. “No secrets at all.” says Anne jokingly [more laughter]. “Drum.” says Red Cloud. The light is put on and the drum is brought in by Alison and placed on the table along with the beater. As the light goes off the drum is up off the table almost immediately.

Red Cloud begins to beat on the drum as it travels across the circle to Alison; it rests on Alison’s fingers for a second or two, then moves over to Malcolm who is seated next to Alison. Again it rests on Malcolm’s fingers for a few seconds as Red Cloud now taps the side of the drum along with the top.
From Malcolm over to Doris where we have a different tone and speed now. Moments later the drum is up in the air and over onto Mary’s head, still being beaten by Red Cloud. “Thank you.” says Mary as the drum lifts off her head and moves across to Anne. From Anne the drum and beater rise up over her head and out of the circle behind her, drumming constantly. The drum is now back in the circle after travelling over Kath’s head; it drops slowly down in front of Kath, then moves across and sits on Anne’s hands that are over the table.

Red Cloud is now alternating between the top of the drum and the side with the beater, this goes on for a few seconds before the drum is lowered to the table and then the beater does three hundred and sixty degrees round the table, touching sitters hands as it travels round. Red Cloud is now brushing the hide of the drum with the beater, ever so fast, creating a light trail from the luminous tab on the beater’s stem.

Red Cloud now slows down the beating of the drum until he is actually drumming in tune to the background music. Moments later Red Cloud lays the beater down on top of the drum - “Are you finished?” I ask. “Yes.” says Red Cloud. The drum and beater are removed from the table - Red Cloud then says “Hoops.” “Both?” I ask. “Yes.” says Red Cloud.

The light is put on and I bring in the two full sized hoola hoops and place them over sitters hands that are on the edge of the table (they are much too big for the table). As the light goes off the hoops rise up from sitters hands, obviously controlled by Red Cloud they begin to shake in the air above us - seconds later one of the hoops is being placed over Malcolm’s head and it comes to rest on his shoulders. The other hoop is then placed over Doris’ head and onto her shoulders, both hoops then begin to vibrate.

As the hoops are vibrating over Malcolm and Doris, Alison and Anne tell us that their hands have been stroked. Alison then tells us that her hand has been patted, pulled into the centre of the table, and placed on one of the hoops - both still vibrating. The hoop over Doris now lifts up and moves across to Tom, it is then placed over Tom and Mary’s heads and rests on their shoulders. This hoop then starts to go round and round in circles whilst resting on their shoulders.

From Tom and Mary this hoop moves across the circle and is placed over Malcolm’s head, Malcolm now has two hoops over his body. Both hoops begins to shake and vibrate - Malcolm tells us that one is vibrating on his hand and the other one is rubbing and vibrating on his back. The table is also vibrating in the centre of the circle now (probably due to the fact that the hoops over Malcolm are also over the table). One hoop now lifts off Malcolm and rises up to the ceiling, it touches the ceiling then drops slowly back to the table.

We are now allowed the red light to take photos of the hoops and their position over the table and Malcolm. We take ordinary flash photos and red light photos with some amazing results. As the light goes off again various sitters comment on the very peaceful atmosphere in the room this evening. Moments later Red Cloud asks me to remove the hoops from Malcolm and the table - the light is put on again and the hoops removed.
We thank Red Cloud for the lovely healing received - “Bless you Red Cloud.” say sitters as he leaves us till end of sitting.

Our next communicator is Dick (Kath’s Father in Spirit) and no sooner has he given us his name, when the table is up and over to Malcolm as if to greet him (Malcolm is his Son). From Malcolm the table is taken across to Doris - “Hello Dick, nice to see you again.” says Doris.
The table then moves across the circle to Mary, and then over to Anne, as if to greet them both too.
Dick then communicates to me (Terry) through the table “Happy Birthday for Friday.” (It is my 60th Birthday this coming Friday). I thank Dick for his birthday wishes and then Kath says “Is mother (Mary) here?” “Yes.” says Dick. The table then lifts up off the floor and as it hovers about two feet in the air, it starts to behave rather strangely - I comment on its behaviour as akin to someone who is drunk. “Have you been on the bottle Dad?” asks Malcolm jokingly [laughter].

Dick then communicates “One big trumpet, one small one.” through the table. The red light is put on and the two trumpets are brought in and placed on the table by me. The second the light goes off both trumpets are up in the air, and as one hovers up above the table, the other one flies out of the circle over Anne’s head to the door. We then watch as the two trumpets do exactly the same movements in the air - the one near the door copying the one over the table.

The trumpet near the door comes back into the circle over Anne’s head, tapping it as it passes - “Thanks.” says Anne. Both trumpets are now hovering four feet above the table, doing figure of eights in unison with each other. The trumpets now conduct to the music for a few seconds before one flies out of the circle again behind Anne - this trumpet then rubs up and down the wall before flying back into the circle and rejoining the other one that is still hovering above the table.

Both trumpets drop slowly to the table, one then goes over to Malcolm and his hand is placed inside it by Dick. We then hear air being blown down the trumpet, followed by kisses being blown. The other trumpet then goes over to Doris and we again hear the air and kisses being blown down it. From Doris the trumpet moves across the circle to Mary, and Mary’s hand is placed inside it. Mary tells us that her hand is being shaken and squeezed inside the trumpet - “It’s a right grip!” says Mary.

Moments later Mary tells us that a trumpet is being put down the back of her shirt - we ask if we may look and then the light is put on [laughter]. We find one of the smaller trumpets just sticking out above her neckline at the back of her head - photos are taken and then the light is put off again. The trumpet is now taken from Mary and we watch as it travels across the circle to Alison. The trumpet is put on Alison’s hand and then her hand is pulled over the table towards Mary, who has also had her hand with the trumpet on raised.

The light is put on again, and we find the trumpet on Alison’s hand crossed over the trumpet on Mary’s hand and touching Mary’s shoulder - photos are taken and Alison tells us that she can still feel the grip on the trumpet during the photo taking. As the light goes off, the trumpet is taken from Alison’s hand “Thank you.” says Alison.

The trumpet is now hovering just in front of Malcolm’s face, and seconds later we hear “Malcolm.” down the trumpet. Seconds later we hear “Enjoyed the garden (Malcolm’s garden).” “Is there enough red (as in flowers) in it for you?” asks Malcolm. “Yes.” comes the reply with a nod of the trumpet. “Good.” says Malcolm.  Then we hear “Birds.” down the trumpet - “Yes, we like the birds don’t we?” says Malcolm.

The trumpet now moves over the table - it is facing me (Terry) and we hear “Mary, stop worrying.” down the trumpet. “I’ll try.” says Mary - [laughter as trumpet taps Mary on the head]. The trumpet is now up in the air above us, first we see ‘figure of eights’ as it swirls around, then it comes right up to various sitters faces and moves away again.

The trumpet now moves over to Doris, and it begins to rub her very gently on her left side - “Are you giving me healing Dick?” she asks. “Yes.” says Dick. “Thank you Dick.” says Doris. The trumpet is up in the air again, and we comment on the very calm energy this evening, possibly due to the healing taking place.

We now have two trumpets up in the air again, out of the circle over near the door, doing the ‘gyro’ effect just below the ceiling. The trumpets now come back into the circle over Anne’s head, and as they drop slowly to the table Dick communicates “Six.” “Six trumpets?” I ask. “Yes.” says Dick. The light is put on to bring in the other trumpets; the table rocking ever so fast until they are placed on it.

As the light goes off the trumpets begin to rise, first two then four, then all six trumpets up in the air - again we see the ‘gyro effect’, but this time with six trumpets. Two lots of three trumpets spinning round, inter-twining with each other as they do so - it was magical to watch. All trumpets are now back on the table, and over the next two minutes we all sit and watch and wait as Dick places a trumpet on each sitters arm.

The light is put on to find all six trumpets on various hands, all resting over the table [laughter]. Photos are taken and then the light is put off again - now sitters, each in turn, describe how their hands (with trumpets on) are being raised and put over their shoulders [more laughter]. “Is this all about healing?” asks Kath. “Yes.” says Dick.
Again the light is put on and photos taken. As the light goes off Tom tells us that his hand has been grabbed and his fingers shaken.

All trumpets are now taken from sitters hands by Dick and placed one inside the other until we have on extra long trumpet made up of five (the sixth trumpet being on the floor). This extra long trumpet is now above us conducting to the background music - moments later the trumpet moves over to me (Terry) and the inner trumpets are flicked out one by one by Dick.

The last trumpet is still hovering near my face, and moments later we hear air being blown down it, then we hear the muffled sound of a female voice (Mary) as if a word has been spoken. I ask if they would repeat this as it was not clear, and again the same muffled sound - again I ask, but this time the word is clearer…’paper’.  “Are you wanting Paper and pencil?” I ask Mary - the trumpet nods a ‘yes’. The light is put on and the pencil and paper are brought in and placed on the table. The paper is checked on both sides and then the light is put off again. We then sit, and watch, and wait. At one point we hear the paper being turned over to write on the other side - over two minutes thirty seconds later Mary puts the pencil down on the paper. We put on the light and are allowed to read the message for Malcolm.

The message begins with “My beautiful first born, I really enjoyed your garden.” the message continues with some very personal words which I will not repeat here, and the message ends with “Your ever loving Mother (Mary).” Malcolm says a few words to his Mum and then the paper is put to one side for safe keeping until laminated later.  Moments later Dick communicates “Love you.” through the table. “God Bless, love you too.” say sitters as Dick and Mary leave us.

Over the years we have had a rule that we must have a name of the communicator before they can request anything through the table - there are generally no exceptions to this rule, but our next communicator does not give a name, just asks for paper. We ask again for a name, the reply is “Surprise for Mary.” Kath asks if this has been Ok’d with Red Cloud - “Yes.” is the reply. Our communicator obviously wants the surprise to be in the written format so we go along with the request and put some A4 paper on the table with the pencil.

“This is unbelievable.” says Mary as the pencil begins to write on the paper. “It’s happening more and more.” says Anne (referring to how many Spirit visitors now request pencil and paper to write with). We sit and watch for nearly two minutes as our surprise visitor writes in the darkness, only the luminous tab on the stem of the pencil can we see as it moves around on the paper. Our visitor finishes and places the pencil down on the paper - “May we look?” I ask.” “Yes.” is the reply.

The message reads: “My lovely sister, I am so glad that you found this (the ability to communicate through a Physical Circle), Gilbert and I are very happy. My children and Grandchildren…all beautiful. I am around you a lot. I will always love you, Margaret xx.” Mary, obviously very emotional, thanked her sister for the beautiful message. Mary also told us that she and Malcolm had been talking about Margaret in the car on their way here this evening, and that it was Margaret’s birthday the day before on 30th June.

“Love you.” says Margaret through the table. “You’re always in our hearts.” says Malcolm. “Bye.” says Margaret. “God Bless.” say sitters as Margaret leaves us.

The next few moments were quite remarkable - we are quite used to some magnificent table phenomena, but our next communicator really takes the biscuit (so to speak). The table moves across the circle to Doris and communicates, the name we get of course, is Freddie (Doris’ husband in Spirit). No sooner had Freddie given us his name, when the table literally leaped out of the circle over Kath and Mary’s heads, it then instantly leaped back in again, all in one smooth movement - the energy required was unimaginable.

“Good grief Doris!” says Kath (also in shock at what had just happened). Freddie then says to Doris “I watched you every minute (whilst Doris was in Austria having surgery), me and Rosie (Doris’ sister in Spirit) never left your side.” “Oh thank you.” says Doris. Freddie continues “Glad you are back in here (séance room).” “Thank you darling.” says Doris as Freddie takes hold of her hand.

“Paper and pencil.” says Freddie. The table rocks excitedly as the light is put on to bring in the A4 paper and pencil. The light is turned off and again we sit and watch, as this time Freddie picks up the pencil and writes on the paper. Ninety seconds later Freddie puts down the pencil and we put on the light to look at what he has written - his message reads: “My beloved, I am so glad you are back, you are my life and that will never change.” next to this message was a heart and F/D xxx.

I call Freddie a romantic, and we laugh, but at the beauty of it all. Moments later I remove the paper for safe keeping, Freddie then communicates through the table “Don’t overdo it.” “Does she listen?” asks Kath. “No.” says Freddie [laughter].  “I am listening, I am quite good.” says Doris. We now hear Freddie gently slap Doris’ hand, and seconds later we hear him kiss her hand (Doris tells us this).
“Bye.” says Freddie. “God Bless you, bye.” says Doris and sitters.

“Good evening William.” say sitters as he communicate his name through the table. William (Alison’s Great Uncle in Spirit) normally asks for pencil and paper, so I ask “Shall I guess what you want?” “Yes.” says William. My guess is half right, William wants the pencil and paper, but this evening he also wants the black card and luminous chalk, at the same time as the pencil and paper.

The light is put on and I bring in one piece of A4 paper, one pencil, one piece of black A4 card and some luminous chalk and place them all on the table, which is rocking quite slowly at this point. “It’s a joy that he comes every week, such a joy.” says Alison as William begins to write and chalk on the paper and card intermittently. “What are you doing William?” asks Alison, who is as confused as the rest of us as to what William wants with card as well as paper.

Ninety seconds later and William is finished, and we put on the light to find, first of all a message which reads: “My wee lassie, take heed of your message. Brilliant party lol. William xxx.” The black card contains a drawing which confused us all, so we ask William what it is - “Drunk person drawing red wine.” says William. “So, that’s a drunks interpretation of a drawing of a bottle of red wine is it?” asks Kath. “Yes.” says William [laughter].

Both the picture and the message are put safely away by me for laminating at end of sitting. “Thank you, it’s just a joke.” says Alison. “Yes (it is).” says William. William then says “Bye.” through the table. “God Bless you…a wicked sense of humour.” says Alison as William takes both her hands and shakes them before finally leaving us - “Thank you so much.” says Alison.

We welcome Red Cloud back to the circle - “Beautiful.” says Red Cloud. “Absolutely!” say sitters. “It’s lovely to have everything else, but it is also lovely to have this (an evening of healing).” says Kath. Doris then gives thanks to Spirit for all the love and healing that she received whilst in Austria.

All sitters then thank Red Cloud for this incredible evening filled with love, healing and humour - “There was an enormous energy of love here.” says Doris. “Yes (there was).” says Red Cloud. “I wish I could bottle it.” says Doris [laughter].

The circle was then closed with a Prayer by Doris.

Duration of sitting: One hour and thirteen minutes.

Terry Nelson.
