Our thanks to our guest sitters Frannie, Annabelle, Philippa and
Jake for joining us this evening - a wonderful blend of positive energy
made for a wonderful experience with our Spirit friends.
All communication with Spirit this evening apart from ‘Kisses’ down the trumpet was via the table.
The circle was opened this evening with a Prayer by Kath, the table began to rock as the opening Prayer was been said, and as our
hands went forward to touch the table Red Cloud said “Frannie, Jake,
Big welcome.” “Thank you very much Red Cloud.” says Fran. The room was
very warm, but we were given a much needed breeze as Red Cloud lifted
the table up above our heads and down again; twice in rapid succession.
“Amazing energies…let’s see what happens.” says Red Cloud [laughter
from Red Cloud on table] [The table shakes rapidly from side to side -
this is Spirit‘s way of signifying laughter]. “Drum.” says Red Cloud
when asked if he had anything else to say. The light is put on and the
table is rocking rapidly as the shamanic drum and beater are brought in
by Fran and placed on the table.
Kath explains to Fran and Jake
that the shamanic drum is a ‘Healing’ drum and many sitters have
experienced its healing qualities. As the light goes off Red Cloud
picks up the drum and beater, and within seconds they are both up in the
air and out of the circle. Sitters watch as the drum slowly descends
behind Philippa and Kath, then almost instantly lifts back up, over
Philippa’s head and onto her knee - all the while it is being beaten by
Red Cloud.
“Thank you Red Cloud.” says Philippa as he gently taps on the drum
on her knee - “It’s like a ‘heartbeat’.” says Kath (describing the
drumbeat). The drum is now over on Fran’s hands, and the beat is faster
and louder now. From Fran the drum goes back to the table and Red
Cloud is now tapping sitters hands with the beater. We then have
laughter from sitters as the beater taps Kath on the head, then back to
fingers on the table before finally beating on the drum again.
Moments later the drum and beater is pushed towards me (Terry) to remove
from the table. “Bye.” says Red Cloud. “God Bless, bye.” say sitters.
Our second communicator of the evening is Dick (Kath’s Father in
Spirit) - “Good one Dick.” says Fran as Dick lifts up the table, turns
it upside-down and sits it on his shoulder - the light is put on and a
photo taken of Fran and the table. As the light goes off the table is
off Fran and back in the centre of the circle. Within seconds the table
is up again and over to guest sitter Jake - “Hello Jake.” says Dick,
the table is then up on Jake’s lap giving him a hug.
The table is
back in the centre of the circle - “Megaphones (large trumpets).” says
Dick. As I reach over behind me to bring in the trumpets I notice that
there is a lot of light coming though the blackout (the tape is coming
away due to heat), but this does not seem to be bothering Dick or the
energies. The trumpets are placed on the table and are immediately
scooped up by Dick; both rise up towards the ceiling then separate - one
hovers above the table and the other goes out of the circle over
Philippa’s head, tapping it as it passes…”Ow!” says Philippa jokingly.
The trumpet outside of the circle now copies the movements of the
trumpet hovering over the table, although they are six feet apart one
does exactly the same as the other.
Moments later both trumpets are back together again over the table - we now see the gyro effect that Dick has mastered beautifully - the trumpets spin ever so fast in circles, and as they spin they intertwine with each other at a slight angle which gives the illusion of a gyroscope made up of light…marvellous to see!
As the spinning stops one trumpet moves
across to Fran and it is placed on his arm by Dick. The other trumpet
moves over to Tom and his arm is placed inside it. Both Tom and Fran
are then pulled towards the centre of the table by Dick who is gripping
their arms through the trumpets. Both Tom and Fran comment on the
strong grip that is squeezing their arms through the trumpets. We then
hear air being blown down the trumpet on Fran’s arm, then a raspberry
sound down the same trumpet [laughter].
Tom now tells us that the
trumpet is being pushed further up his arm, stopping at the elbow, and
that he is now being pulled over towards Annabelle who is sitting next
to him. Annabelle tells us that something is on her head - Tom tells us
that Dick is doing something with the trumpet, but he doesn’t know
what. Fran is stood now, and has been pulled over towards Annabelle
also - he also says something is been done to the trumpet on his arm.
Moments later Dick communicates through the table “Look.” says Dick.
We put on the red light to find the trumpets on Tom and Fran have been
joined together (one thin end put inside the other thin end) and that
the trumpet on Tom’s arm is resting on Annabelle’s shoulder (Tom’s arm
behind her back) and the one on Fran is attached to this. “Wow!” say
sitters. Photographs are taken and then the light is put off.
The trumpets are now separated by Dick and as Tom moves back to his
seat, we hear kisses being blown down the trumpet on Fran’s arm.
Moments later both Tom and Fran tell us that their arms are being
squeezed through the trumpets again, then both are pulled out of their
seats again and are guided over to where Kath is sat - again the light
is put on and we find Tom and Fran’s arms (with trumpets on them) are
crossed and resting over Kath’s lap [laughter]. Again we take photos;
Tom cannot reach or use his camera so Philippa takes a photo with
Digi-cam.
As the light goes off Dick whips the trumpets off Tom
and Fran’s arms then guides them back to their seats. Dick then says
“Six.” “Six trumpets?” I ask. “Yes.” says Dick. Straight away the
light is back on to bring in the extra four trumpets - the table is
rocking excitedly as they are all placed on it. As the light goes off
again we see the trumpets being gathered together on the table; first
one, then two, then three are up off the table, then all six are up, two
bunches of three trumpets are flying above us.
The bunches now
separate and as three hover over the table the other three fly out of
the circle over Philippa’s head to the back wall, they hover there for a
couple of seconds then come back into the circle and join up with the
other three again. We now have six trumpets just above our heads
dancing around, then they all drop to the table and we see one being put
inside the other, again and again until we have one giant trumpet made
up of four smaller ones.
This group of four trumpets looking like a giant ice cream cone in
the darkness now taps sitters hands on the table. Moments later one of
the other two trumpets is up in the air - spinning round at great speed
just above us, creating a wonderful breeze as it passes our heads.
“Thank you very much.” says Alison as the trumpet taps her on the head.
We now hear the spare table stirring in the background, almost
immediately the trumpet is down on the table and the spare table is up
and coming into the circle between Kath and Annabelle.
The spare
table turns upside-down as it travels in and it lands on top of the
circle table. Both tables now rise up in the air…up, down, up, down
they go, creating another much needed breeze in the room. The tables
drop to the floor and move across to Kath where they then begin to tilt
over towards Jake and myself. When they reach a near horizontal
position, both stuck firmly together, they just hover there and we put
on the light to look and to take photos.
Kath explains to Fran
and Jake that try as they will, they would not part the tables, they are
firmly stuck together with Spirit energy and stay that way until they
rise back up to the vertical position. As they do rise back up, Fran’s
hand is grabbed and gently slapped as is Annabelle’s, their hands are
then guided up onto the top of the spare table’s legs. Both tables then
rise up again with Fran and Annabelle’s hands still on top - “Amazing!”
says Philippa as the tables slowly drop back to the floor.
The
spare table now slides off the circle table; it looks like it is going
back out of the circle between Annabelle and Kath, but it stops when it
reaches them and just sits on their legs with the table-top facing the
centre of the circle. “Drumstick.” says Dick. As I reach out behind me
to find the drumstick I see more and more daylight coming in through
the edge of the blackout board on the window. I ask Dick if all this
light is going to be a problem for him - “No.” says Dick.
I bring in the single plastic drumstick and place it on the table,
Dick picks up the drumstick and begins to tap out a tune on the circle
table; we then realize why he hasn’t taken the spare table out of the
circle as he now taps the spare table with the drumstick, then the
circle table, and then back to the spare table, backwards and forwards
between the two, creating a different tone on each.
The drumstick
is now doing three hundred and sixty degrees round the table, touching
each sitters hands in turn as it goes round, suddenly it is up and over
to Philippa - Philippa now tells us that the drumstick has been put down
the back of her shirt, sticking out on the neckline [laughter].
Dick now begins to drum on the circle table with his hands, then Dick
begins to drum on the spare table (still seated between Annabelle and
Kath) and the circle table, alternating between the two as if he were
playing bongos. As Dick stops tapping the tables the circle table
begins to rock, at the same time the spare table is finally lifted out
of the circle (we assume by Dick) and placed back in the corner of the
room behind Annabelle. “Bye.” says Dick through the circle table - “God Bless, bye.” say sitters as Dick leaves us.
“Do we have a new communicator?” I ask - there is no reply from the
table, just laughter (the table shakes from side to side which indicates
laughter) - “May I have a name please?” I ask. “Maybe.” comes the
reply [The only time we get a ‘maybe’ through the table is when a young
Spirit person is communicating, but the question is - which one?] “No
name…no play.” says Kath. I ask for a name again and get ‘Robert’ - I
ask Robert if he is new to the circle - “Sort of.” says Robert.
I ask Robert if he would like to go to the person he has come to see
- the table moves across to Jake and Robert says “Hello brother.” “Hi
Robert.” says Philippa (Jake’s Mum). The table moves across the floor
to Philippa and comes to rest on her knee - “Thank you Robert.” says
Philippa as the table is now up and over her head. We put on the red
light to find Philippa inside the table - as we touch the table it
begins to vibrate rapidly. Tom takes a photo of this and then the light
is put off again.
The table immediately lifts off Philippa and
it is placed back in the centre of the circle by Robert. Robert then
says to Jake “I have been trying to get your attention.” “Thank you
Robert.” says Jake. Robert continues “Jake, stop worrying, everything
will work out, concentrate on you.” Robert then went on to give Jake
another personal message which was understood by his mum Philippa.
“Thank you Robert.” says Philippa.
Moments later Robert says
“Clackers.” [Clackers are Spirit’s name for castanets] “Both?” I ask.
“Yes.” says Robert. The castanets are brought in and placed on the
table by me; they are immediately picked up by Robert and for the next
few moments he is clacking them in the air above us. The noise they
make is almost deafening as Robert continues to shake them, then spin
them round in circles just above our eye level, using the elastic binds
that hold them together to hold on to as he spins them.
Robert now takes the castanets over to Philippa and uses one to nip
her arm slightly - “Love you lots.” says Philippa. “Thank you Robert.”
says Jake as Robert now goes across to him and grabs his finger and
shakes it. We now have the castanets clack clack clacking again, then
they begin to spin around in circles ever so fast, suddenly one is taken
out of the circle between Kath and Philippa by Robert, it comes back in
almost immediately and is dropped to the floor whilst the other one
continues to spin over the table for a few seconds more. As the
spinning stops Robert communicates through the table - “Bye.” says
Robert. “God Bless, bye.” say sitters as Robert leaves us.
Our
next communicator to the table is young Luke - “Good evening Luke.” say
sitters as Luke takes the table across to Fran and sits it on his knee.
Moments later the table is up in the air above us doing full three
hundred and sixty degree turns as it levitates. “Having a party.” says
Luke as he drops the table back to the floor [laughter]. “Your having a
party?” I ask. “Yes, ropes.” says Luke. “All three?” I ask. “Yes.”
says Luke.
The red light is put on whilst I bring in the three skipping ropes
and place them on the circle table. As soon as the light goes off Luke
has one rope up in the air; he holds on to the rope whilst spinning it
round in circles, the rope handles are on the outside edge creating that
‘wheel of light’ effect as they spin ever so fast above us. Moments
later Luke takes the spinning rope out of the circle above Philippa’s
head, and as he reaches the far wall he lets out more rope; this in turn
makes the wheel of light bigger and bigger until we see it spinning
from floor to ceiling - “Fantastic!” says Fran who is seeing this for
the first time. “Brilliant!” says Philippa.
Luke brings the
spinning rope back into the circle, again over Philippa’s head and it
comes to rest on the circle table with the other two - Jake tells us
that he sees an arm over the table as the other two ropes are now
unravelled by Luke. What comes next amazes all of us as Luke now has
all three skipping ropes up in the air - six rope handles spinning in
the air, the effect it creates is amazing as Luke now takes all three
skipping ropes out of the circle over sitters heads as they spin.
The ropes are now near the back wall again and as they spin they move
towards the door and then over sitters heads and back into the circle,
all in a smooth movement without once touching a sitter in the darkness.
The circle table is now being moved to one side by Luke, and the ropes
that have now stopped spinning, are dancing over the table - the
luminous tabs on the rope handles are creating quite a lot of light and
Kath tells us she sees an arm in this light as Luke dangles the ropes.
As the ropes stop dancing Annabelle tells us that one of them is now
being tied to her hand/wrist. Kath and Philippa now tell us that they
too have had their hands tied with the rope - moments later the rope
that is tied to these three sitters begins to spin over the table [the
handles are free to do the spinning]. Fran now tells us that his hand
is been tied - “Clever stuff Luke.” says Fran as the ropes still manage
to spin over the table.
In the next few moments Tom, Alison and
Jake are all tied up with the rope [Luke is using more than one rope
now] - six sitters now tied up with the skipping ropes; their hands all
placed over the table. The light is put on and photos taken of all
sitters tied together by Luke - “Wow!” says Philippa - “It looks like a
spider’s web.” says Kath as the photos are being taken of the tied hands
on a now rocking table [laughter].
As the light goes off Luke
releases all sitters hands in seconds, the ropes are thrown over into my
lap by Luke and then Luke says “Trumpet, drum and tambourine.” The
light is put back on, and as the table begins to rock again I bring in
the requested toys and place them on the table.
As the light goes off the drum is the first to move, up it goes, in the air above us, and as it hovers the tambourine is the next to lift up off the table. As Luke shakes the tambourine he takes it across to Philippa and places it on her head.

The trumpet is now up with the drum and we hear Luke
play the drum and also blow on the trumpet at the same time - all
sitters laugh at the funny noises Luke makes from the trumpet. This
goes on for over two minutes, the energy is phenomenal, we sit in awe at
what we are witnessing. Moments later Luke takes the drumstick and
puts it down the back of Annabelle’s shirt, he then takes the trumpet
out of the circle behind Kath and Annabelle and we listen as he plays a
tune, we hear his little fingers playing with the valves on the trumpet
as he plays [laughter].
The trumpet is now behind Philippa’s back, still being played by
Luke. From Philippa over to Fran with the trumpet, Luke continually
playing as he moves it around. Moments later all the toys are back on
the table for me to remove, and as the light is put on to remove them
the table rocks rapidly. “Bye.” says Luke - “Bye son, God Bless you.”
say sitters as Luke leaves us.
Our next communicator to the table
is a young boy called McFife. McFife is Fran’s Grandson in Spirit and
he is the reason that Fran sat with us at such short notice this evening
[Red Cloud gave us a message for Fran the other day - “McFife wants to
talk to his Granddad.” was the message, so with six hours notice Fran
was able to sit with us this evening].
We welcome McFife to the
circle and he immediately takes the table over to Fran -”I can write.”
say McFife - “God Bless, are you going to write me a nice letter?” asks
Fran. “Soon.” says McFife. McFife then went on to give Fran some very
personal messages and proof of his being around them which Fran could
take and understood.
After about five minutes of communication
with his Granddad McFife asks for pencil and paper [through the table],
The light is put on and the pencil and paper are brought in and placed
on the table - McFife then spends the next two minutes writing another
very personal message for his Granddad. As McFife puts the pencil down
on the paper he communicates “Got black…” Kath interrupts with “Do you
want some black card and chalk?” “Yes.” says McFife.
The light is put on and black card and luminous chalk are brought in
and placed on the table. About a minute later we put on the red light
to find a child’s drawing of a car and trailer. I put the letter and
the drawing to one side for safe keeping until I can laminate it for
Fran to take away - a beautiful keepsake. As the light is put off we
ask young McFife if he has anything else he would like to say - “No.”
says McFife. “Have you got to go baby?” asks Kath. “Yes.” says McFife.
“God Bless you.” says Fran and Kath. “Will you come again?” asks Kath
- The table rocks excitedly - “That’s a ‘yes’.” I say to Fran. “Love
you babe.” says Fran as McFife leaves us.
Moments later the table
is up in the air and it stays there until our next communicator has
given us his name through it - it is William (Alison‘s Great Uncle).
“You’ve got some energy there.” I say to William as the table slowly
drops to the floor. “Pa…” says William before I interrupt with “Do you
want the pencil and paper?” “Yes.” says William.
We put on the
red light and I place the pencil and A4 paper on the table, and after
checking both sides of the paper to make sure it is blank, the light is
put off. For the next minute we sit and watch the glowing pencil as it
moves across the paper, and as the pencil is finally placed back on the
table I ask “May we look?” Instead of saying ‘yes’ William asks for the
black card and luminous chalk.
After putting the card and chalk
on the table we again sit and watch as the luminous chalk slowly moves
across the card - we then hear a shuffling sound on the table and wonder
just what William is doing. When the light is finally put on we find
that William has folded the black card down the middle and has put a
drawing of a flower on the front and a heart inside the fold. “That’s
beautiful.” says Alison.
The A4 paper contained a personal message for Alison which was fully
understood. “Thank you very much.” says Alison as the table vibrates
rapidly. “Bye.” says William. “God Bless you, thank you for coming.”
says Alison as William leaves the table.
“Amazing energies, and
carried on being so.” says Red Cloud as he comes back to the table -
“Started with amazing energies and kept it?” asks Kath. “Yes.” says Red
Cloud.
Red Cloud had nothing more to say so I asked if we may asks questions - “Yes.” says Red Cloud. Philippa and Jake both had questions for Red Cloud; their questions were answered and understood by both - “Thank you Red Cloud.” says Philippa.

We thanked Red Cloud for another wonderfully emotional evening and then the circle was closed with a Prayer by me (Terry).
Duration of sitting: One hour and eighteen minutes.
